  1. Oil Half a cup
  2. Onion 1 medium sized
  3. Tomato 1 small
  4. Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
  5. Red chili powder half tsp
  6. turmeric powder half tsp
  7. salt half tsp
  8. Cauli flower 1 kg
  9. Potato 1 medium sized
  10. Green chili
  11. Fresh Coriander few leaves
  12. Whole spice powder half tsp
  13. Carom seeds half tsp

Method to Cook Mashed Cauliflower with Potato

Pre heat the pan and add half cup oil in it. As the oil heated add 1 medium sized sliced onion. Fry until the onion become golden brown.
When onion become golden add 1 small sliced tomato in it as well. Mix and cover until tomato became tender. Now uncover the wok and add 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste.
Followed by all dry spices that is red chili powder, Half tsp salt,  Half tsp turmeric powder. Again mix and cook on low flame for few minutes. To cook the gravy well. add a little bit water if needed, so that the dry spices should not be burnt.
Now Cut and washed the 1 kg cauliflower and 1 potato.

When the gravy cooks well put Cauliflower and  potato in it. mix well and cover with a lid. Keep the flame on very low and cook for 20 minutes. After 20minutes add half tsp whole Spice powder and Next add 1/4 tsp carom seeds.
At end add some fresh coriander leaves and a green chili.
Cauliflower with potatoes is ready to eat. Serve with Simple wheat Chapati. The Simple wheat Chapati and its kneading dough recipe is also available on the channel.
